The First of Three?

Richard Widmark, star of countless movies, the television series Madigan and one episode of I Love Lucy in 1955, died on Monday at the tender age of 93. Although a fairly serious actor, he showed a sense of humor by appearing in an I Love Lucy episode where Lucy climbs over his wall to pick a grapefruit. In actuality, it was Lucille Ball's own wall at her new home on Roxbury in Beverly Hills. Unlike Ms. Ball and Mr. Widmark, the wall still survives.
